Booking & reservations

How do I book an RV?

Browse our unit sizes, click "View availability and reserve," choose your dates and campground, and complete booking online. You'll see real-time availability and total pricing before you pay.

How do I check availability for specific dates?

Click "View availability and reserve" anywhere on the site, select your dates, and follow the prompts. For busy dates, contact us — we may be able to help with adjustments.

Do I need to book my campground separately?

Yes. Reserve your campground site first, then book your RV. We'll need your campground name and site number for delivery.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes — all reservations have a 3-night minimum charge. You are welcome to stay one or two nights, but the rental is priced for a minimum of 3 nights.

What is your cancellation and payment policy?

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to book. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your rental. After the balance is paid, we'll schedule your delivery time for your arrival date.

Is a security deposit required?

Yes — a $500 refundable security deposit is required for Tahoe rentals (separate from your rental payment).

How far in advance should I book?

Peak summer weekends and holidays fill early. Book as soon as your campground reservation is confirmed.

Delivery & setup

Do you deliver to my campground?

Yes — we deliver to most campgrounds in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Set delivery pricing for most campgrounds appears during booking. For locations not listed, contact us for a custom quote.

What is included in delivery?

Delivery includes backing the unit into your site, leveling, hooking up to all available utilities, a walkthrough orientation, and retrieval at checkout.

What time will you deliver my RV?

Delivery is scheduled between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. You'll receive your delivery time by email about one week before check-in.

Can I pick up the RV myself and tow it to my campsite?

Not for Tahoe Basin camping — we deliver and set up at your campground for a simpler, safer experience for everyone.

Self-pickup may be available if you're leaving the Tahoe Basin. Requirements include:

  • A proper tow vehicle with a working brake controller

  • A 7-pin round plug

  • A 2-5/16" ball, 22"–24" from the ground (measured to the top of the ball)

  • Insurance documentation confirming your liability coverage extends to a non-owned travel trailer

My campsite is shorter than the RV. Can you still make it fit?

We recommend choosing a unit that fits your site's posted length. Some campgrounds have a little extra space — for example, we can often fit a 26' unit in a 25' site. Every campground and site is different. It's your responsibility to confirm your site can accommodate the unit you rent. When in doubt, send us your campground name and site number before booking.

Do you deliver to private properties or vacation rentals?

Often yes — contact us with your location for a custom delivery quote.

Units & pricing

What does the nightly rate include?

Your rental includes the RV, delivery, setup, orientation, hookup to available utilities, and retrieval at checkout. Propane is included (5+ gallons to start). Delivery fees for your specific campground are calculated at checkout. A $500 refundable security deposit is required separately.

Which size is right for my family?

  • Compact: Up to 4 guests — bunks + queen bed; 17' living space (21' overall)

  • Mid Size: Up to 4 guests — queen, bunks, and dinette; 23' living space (28' overall) with slide-out

  • Large: Up to 5 guests — roomy layout with large slide-out; 26' living space (31' overall)

  • X-Large: Up to 6 guests — maximum space and comfort; 30' living space (35' overall)

Confirm final specs with us before booking if site length is tight.

Are the photos and floor plans exact?

Floor plans are representative. Exact unit may vary by availability, but all units in each tier offer the same core amenities and sleeping capacity.

What's included in the unit

What comes stocked in the RV?

  • Cups, plates, bowls, and silverware

  • Paper towels and toilet paper

  • Linens for the main bed

  • Entry mat

  • All hoses and cords for power hookups

  • Pots, pans, heavier cookware, and coffee makers are not included — bring your own if you plan to cook.

Does the rental include propane?

Yes — all rentals include 5+ gallons of propane to start. That's typically enough for stays under 5 nights. You're responsible for any refills needed beyond the initial amount. There's no extra charge for propane used during your stay.

Do your units have awnings?

Yes — all units have awnings at no extra charge. Most are electric and easy to use. Retract the awning when you're away, asleep, or if rain, wind, or snow is expected. You're responsible for any awning damage during your stay.

Power, hookups & utilities

What type of hookup do I have at my site?

Campgrounds offer three types:

  • Full hookup: Electric, water, and sewer — like being at home

  • Partial hookup: Electric and water, but no sewer

  • No hookup (dry camping): No connections — you're self-contained

We'll set you up correctly for your site type and walk you through what you need to know.

Do I need a generator or solar panel?

If your site has no electric hookup, you'll need a power source. Three options:

  • Solar panel only — Keeps batteries charged during sunny days. Powers basics (lights, fridge, water pump). Won't run A/C, microwave, TV, or household outlets. No backup power at night if batteries drain.

  • Generator only — Runs the full unit including A/C, microwave, and household outlets. Expect roughly 1 gallon of fuel per hour of run time. We provide the generator full and a 5-gallon backup gas can. Fuel from the backup can must be replaced or is charged at $10/gallon against your deposit.

  • Generator + solar (recommended) — Solar handles daytime basics; generator is there for evenings and high-draw appliances. We offer a discount for this combo.

Add generator and/or solar at checkout, or ask us what we recommend for your site.

I don't have a sewer hookup. What about wastewater?

All units have holding tanks. With light use and basic management, they're usually fine for most stays. We'll show you how to check tank levels. Use campground showers and restrooms when possible to reduce strain on the tanks.

Pets

Are pets allowed?

Yes — we're dog friendly. $13/night per pet for additional cleaning. Select the pet option when booking.

Pet rules:

Pets are never allowed on sleeping areas

Don't leave pets unsupervised in the unit

Pet damage may be charged against your security deposit

Undisclosed pets forfeit the $500 security deposit

Sorry — no cats

Check-in & checkout

What happens when I arrive?

We deliver, back in, level, hook up utilities, and give you a full orientation. You arrive to a ready campsite.

What happens at checkout?

Leave at your convenience before campground checkout time (typically 10:00 AM). Place the keys in the lockbox and go — we handle cleaning, tank dumping, and retrieval.

What if something breaks during my trip?

Call our maintenance line at (530) 721-3676. We're local and responsive.

First-time RV campers

I've never camped in an RV. Is this a good fit?

Absolutely! Many of our guests are first-timers. We handle delivery, setup, and orientation so you can focus on your trip — not on learning to tow or hook up.

Do I need a special license to rent?

No special license is required for our delivered rentals — you won't be towing.

What should I bring?

  • Food and drinks

  • Cookware if you plan to cook (pots/pans not included)

  • Personal toiletries and towels (2 towels + 1 hand towel provided)

  • Extra toilet paper if needed (RV-specific only — regular TP can clog the system)

  • Warm layers for cool Tahoe nights

  • Camp chairs and outdoor gear

How does delivery work for Burning Man?
