Tahoe RV Rentals (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website tahoervrentals.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit the Site, contact us, inquire about RVs for sale, or start a rental booking.

1. Who we are

Tahoe RV Rentals provides delivery-and-setup RV rentals for Lake Tahoe campgrounds, McCall, Idaho, and Burning Man, and also offers select RVs for sale.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact / inquiry forms: name, email, message, and any other details you include (for example, trip dates or questions about a unit).

  • For Sale inquiries: name, email, phone (if provided), message, and listing details related to the unit you ask about (such as model, stock number, or price shown on the listing).

  • Phone or email: information you share when you call or email us.

  • Booking: when you book a rental, you provide booking and payment details through our booking provider (see Third parties below). We may also receive reservation details needed to deliver and support your rental.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information

  • IP address and approximate location

  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring URL, and time spent on pages

  • Cookie and similar technology identifiers (see Cookies below)

Information from third parties

We may receive information from:

  • Our booking platform about reservations and communications related to your rental

  • Form and hosting providers that process submissions on our behalf

  • BookingCentral (app.bookingcentral.com) — rental booking, availability, and related reservation data

  • Formspree — For Sale and other inquiry form delivery

  • Google — Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and related measurement tools

  • Meta — Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and related features

Those providers have their own privacy policies. Booking and payment details entered on BookingCentral are also governed by that platform’s terms and privacy practices.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep the Site working securely

  • Remember preferences (including cookie choices, where offered)

  • Understand traffic and site performance

  • Measure ads and remarketing (for example via Meta and Google tools)

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, our cookie banner (“Accept all” / “Manage cookies”). Blocking some cookies may affect Site features.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including reservation records, customer support history, and legal or accounting requirements. Inquiry emails and form submissions are typically retained for operational follow-up and recordkeeping, then deleted or archived when no longer needed.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to our business. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use strong passwords on any accounts you control and avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information by email or form.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact info@tahoervrentals.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:

We may use advertising pixels and analytics that could be considered “sharing” under California law. You can limit tracking via our cookie banner (when available), browser controls, and industry tools such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where we can honor it.
